Good Saturday Morning Precious Friends,
As we embrace this beautiful new day I pray you take time to put the Lord first spending time with Him In His word, through his creation, prayer and fellowship with believers.
I love this song and reminder of truth! whenever we start having difficulties just sing this song and be reminded of who God is immediately focusing on him and not our problems!
Scripture never promises that faith in Jesus will make our problems go away—in fact, sometimes the opposite is true.
But whatever comes our way, we do not face our struggles without hope. We have put our trust in the Savior who died but then rose again. He made our salvation and new life possible by defeating sin and death.
Jesus will triumph over every enemy of God and we will share in that victory because of our faith. In Christ, we have hope for the possibility of redemption in this life. Bodies can be healed, hearts can be softened, and lives can be changed. But even if we don’t experience some of the changes we hope for during our lives, we have the assurance that one day we will share in Christ’s victory.
Wow wow wow!🙌🙌🙌🙌
We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).
John Piper puts it this way:
The great battle today is fought not with swords, but with the gospel of Jesus Christ crucified and risen. It is fought for the souls of men. It is fought in the power of the Holy Spirit. It is fought with words of truth and deeds of love and justice. And all of that backed by prayer.
The victory will come and will come by prayer.
Pray for the victory of God. Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Send forth laborers, God. Open a door for the gospel. Give boldness to your people. Save the peoples, Lord. Vindicate your elect who cry to you day and night. Come, Lord Jesus.
Amen.
