We are so excited for Walk on Water Chapter 2! Stay Tuned for Updates!

About Us

Dear Friends,
The story of Walk on Water is such an amazing blessing! I want to share with you how we were founded and how much you mean to us. I was brought up in retail. My Dad worked hard to fulfill his dream of opening his own business and being
an entrepreneur. I was blessed to graduate from UCF where I met my amazing husband Rick. Together with my parents and brother... we were blessed to have a Surf Shop Chain called Good Vibrations and grew them to 15 locations. These were the first Surf Shops in the malls. After 17 years of amazing success, we sold to Pacific Sunwear a National Chain.
At that time, God blessed my husband Rick and I with the gift of gifts when our son Branson Joshua was born in 1998. When Branson was in first grade... God continued to work in my heart to consider using the gifts he had given me to open a boutique that would make a difference in the community through the relationships we had in our community. We opened Walk on Water in Lake Mary in 2004.
We dedicated Walk on Water to the Lord and placed scriptures on the foundation of the floor and asked the Lord to bless our endeavors.  It has been an amazing journey and we were able to open our second location in Winter Park in 2007. (Closed Winter Park in 2019 to focus on our ONLINE presence and the ever changing retail environment) My team who work with me at Walk on Water are representative of the stores mission and purpose and we would never achieve the success we have today without them.
Walk on Water has been able to support numerous community outreach efforts, families in need, children in need, specific, organizations like Sanford Crisis Center, Bags of Hope, Orlando Rescue Mission, St. Jude Children's Hospital, M.D. Anderson Women Playing for T.I.M.E., PanCan Network, Toys for Tots and many other Outreach Efforts.
In September of 2009 God stirred my heart to do an annual Outreach effort for a big need right here in our community. The Annual Friends Helping Friends 5K for Safehouse of Seminole is now a 11 year annual event raising over $100,000 and having 900 plus participate each year. Safehouse of Seminole is a non-profit organization dedicated to seeing an end to the cycle of domestic violence. SafeHouse reaches out to the community to provide a coordinated response to prevent the epidemic of domestic violence.
Our 5K was cancelled due to Covid and we will resume it once again in the near future.   Walk on Water is much more than a boutique that sells sophisticated and trendy clothing, shoes, jewelry, gifts and accessories... We are founded on Christian Principles. Our purpose and mission statements are as follows: The purpose of Walk on Water is to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with us.
In July of 2022 we closed our physical location in Colonial TownPark but continue to sell online and are very involved in our charitable efforts. Stay tuned for Chapter 2....

Mission Statement:  Walk on WATER is a boutique of purpose that continues to give back. We are founded on Christian principles. We sell trendy clothing, shoes, jewelry, meaningful gifts and accessories. We focus on serving others and making a difference in the lives of those in our community through building relationships with our customers. 85% of store profits go back out into our community and we focus on monthly Outreach efforts for those in need in our community.

When you support Walk on Water you support your community. Thank you and God bless you for 16 amazing years. I am blessed beyond words mostly with a heavenly Father who I listen to and seek for direction in all areas of my life.
In His Love and mine,

Roxane
