Dear Precious Friends,
On this Magnificent Monday as we begin a new week... I am awestruck by the truth that our Lord loves us so much He known every unspoken word, sees every unseen wound & mends our unbearable pain. I needed this reminder and truth that the creator of the Universe loves us so much He knows everything about us. He loves us so much and wants us to feel His incredible presence no matter what we are walking through. So what do we do?
Today is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Psalms 66:19 reminds us but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer.
Today, I am thinking about what is really going on when God answers our prayers.
I am in awe of the attributes of God and in our humanness it is hard for us to understand these 3 attributes of God. s.
God is omniscient, which means He knows everything about us. He’s omnipresent, which means He goes everywhere with us. And He’s omnipotent, which means He has the infinite power to fulfill the desires of our heart, if that is His will for us at that time.
WOW WOW WOW! This is truth!
David makes this level of intimacy even clearer in Psalm 139. He says, “Lord, you’ve examined my heart and you know everything about me. You know when I sit down and stand up. You know my every thought. You know what I’m about to say even before I say it.”
I am in awe to think about how God hears our prayers yet already knows them.
If you are a little tired, anxious and fearful, be comforted in knowing that you’re in an intimate relationship with God. He knows our prayers before we even say them to Him. As we embrace that idea, cling to these words: “But God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer.” Psalms 66:19 (NLT)
I challenge us all to pray without ceasing... every 10 seconds our brains have a thought... in order to take our thoughts captive to Christ we can just talk to Him all day... and make that our focus... Set your alarm every hour just to remind you. How do we pray without ceasing?
When our thoughts wander, take them to Him...In His presence is fullness of joy...
The most basic definition of prayer is "talking to God." Prayer is it is direct address to God. It is the communication of our human soul with the Lord who created the soul.
Have an amazing day talking to God, spreading His joy despite our circumstances, knowing the truth of His word as we embrace the gifts He has given us despite the difficult circumstances.
I pray we are so filled with Him and His presence, when people see us, they see Him...
