Dear Precious Friends,
It's a new day, a gift that's been given to us... I pray as we wake up today to a new day... we start our day with purpose.... Time is a gift and our most precious commodity. When Jesus is Lord of our life we put Him first in every area... We have to choose what is important to us or it will be chosen for us... Earnestly we must choose Him to be our Number 1. When we wake up He is with us... It's a privilege to start our day in His word, not scrolling through Social Media.. Psalm 119:10 reminds us to Seek Him will our our hearts... When God comes first He is in every single aspect of our lives.. His word is our truth and we carry Him in our hearts. May you joyfully let his light shine for all men to see! Jesus has entrusted great gifts to us to scatter joy and proclaim His Name. We must never underestimate the power of that twinkle in your eyes and that smile on your face. When we put Him first, we are generous with kindness and compassion. We go out of our way to speak a word of encouragement to someone who crosses our path. We tell our family and faithful friends a how much you love them. And yes, we Whisper prayers for strangers as they pass you by. . God reaches the world through the hands and hearts of His people... You and Me... Let's live with our BIG ROCKS FIRST and all will fall into place and not the little pebbles that take priority. He's given us a new day and wants us to be the Holy People He loves as Colossians 3 reminds us. Our clothing is tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. He reminds us of how we are to live in Colossians 3:12-15:
Colossians 3:12-15 (NLT) ~ Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
So my friends, As we thank God for a new day, a purpose and a plan... let us thank Him with hearts of gratitude for the work He has for us to do today and be so in touch with His presence we have in our lives that we are in continual communication with Him... whispering His Name whenever we need to redirect our thoughts... and walk through this day with focus on Him...
The Lord replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest".
