Dear Precious Friends,
It’s fill our Soul Sunday. I pray however you worship God today you have incredible time spent with Him as we embrace a new week. Sometimes it’s easy to get distracted...yet our Lord wants our time with Him...in complete dependence on Him with complete humility of heart and gentleness of spirit so we can live in complete dependence on Him.
I love this reminder by St. Francis de Sales....
If the heart wanders or is distracted, bring it back to the point quite gently and replace it tenderly in its Master's presence. And even if you did nothing during the whole of your hour but bring your heart back and place it again in Our Lord's presence, though it went away every time you brought it back, your hour would be very well employed.
Our Lord loves us so much and reveals great truth to us. He wants us to rely totally on Him... clinging to Him by faith, Admitting our helplessness and trusting on his sufficient strength. He calls us to “take my yoke upon you and learn of me. “
The Lord Jesus was meek and humble in heart and we are to learn to do the same. Jesus Spent his entire life trusting entirely on God and he only did the things he heard from the father. In like manner we are to take his yoke upon us and learn to live in continuous dependence upon him and we too shall find rest for our souls ...for his yoke is easy and his burden is light...
We are certainly walking in difficult times needing Him more than ever.
Faith reminds us to keep taking the next step in total dependence on Him.
Forsaking All I Trust Him...FAITH...
Opposite of FEAR ....
May we take time today to fill our soul with His truth that comes from time spent with Him, in His word, praying,
Fellowshipping even if online with our family in Christ... and reaching out to others in their time of need.
Love you all so much!
