I love this reminder that we are to take authority in the name of Jesus in the spiritual battlefield we are in! This visual really speaks to my heart and reminds me of who we are and whose we are and how we win the battle! Armor up my friends....
Psalm 62:1-2 (NLT)
I wait quietly before God for my victory comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.
We are warriors for the Kingdom of God. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. We do not fight like the world does but we win every time. When we face our fears and opposition with the Power of God in the Name of Jesus Christ believing that we always have the victory – it is then that we live victory to victory. It is not easy but His Grace is sufficient. We must use godly wisdom to pick and choose our battles not wasting precious time and energy on things already resolved – we find the answers we need in His Word, by His Spirit and by living in constant communication with the one who secured our victory – Jesus Christ. The only way we lose this battle is to forfeit our faith. (Psalm 118:10-17) The enemy is good at rattling our cages hoping to flush us out of the Presence of God. As long as our faith is secure and we remain unshakable and uncompromisingly righteous in confident hope, He can never take our victory from us. We are warriors. We have nothing to lose. We have everything to gain.
