Dear Precious Friends,
As I started my quiet time this morning and lifted up so many prayers with so many going through so much... I sought that question of “why God?”
Then I realize that is not the question ... It's TRUST ME...SEEK ME...FOLLOW ME... Don’t try to understand the ways of God because it is impossible for us to understand His decisions and ways! (Romans 11:33). The natural man cannot understand the things of God. For God’s thoughts and ways are higher than mans, (Isaiah 55:8)they are past finding out and this is why we must make a decision to trust our all knowing God. It does us no good to be weary, anxious, worried, depressed and sad.
SO what do we do? We focus on what we do know.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.
Our top priority is simple: TRUST JESUS. When we do, we press into His promises and remember all that He says in His word... I pray you are able to have time with Him, praying, taking in His word, and know He is with us no matter what we are facing.
I love to hide God's promises in my heart...
Through His promises He gives us a fresh revelation of His love for us and of His promises to us. Then we walk in a new awareness of just how rich we are!
In times of trouble, stress, and despair, it is God’s promises that give us hope. We just have to immediately go to Him!!!
The scriptures remind us that with our eyes fixed on Christ we can weather any storm that comes our way. Biblical truths assure us that God will never abandon us and that He will always welcome us back into His loving arms.
This is how we keep the devil from stealing our joy and strength in the Lord. Memorize and save these so that you can always find these promises when you need them the most.
1. God will never leave you. Deuteronomy 31:6
2. God will always protect you. 2 Thessalonians 3:3
3. God will give you strength for every battle. Isaiah 40:31
4. God will give you the graces necessary to endure all suffering. 2 Corinthians 12:9
5. God will forgive you even when you have sinned against Him. 1 John 1:9
6. God will never stop loving you. Ephesians 3:17-19
There are so many promises in God's word... We are so grateful for His truth... I especially love when fears surface to remember and remind myself immediatley :
"But God said...
when doubts arise... "But God said.."
When life overwhelms us ... "But God said"
Claim His truth.
None of us knows how many days God has assigned to us on this earth. But we have today. We have Gods presence and His promises. And we’re called to think long, to think past this life, to live with eternity in mind. We have today. We don’t know about tomorrow. So this moment? This gift from God? May we open our hands and offer it back to Jesus. There is hope in Christ for every hardship on earth. God has the power to turn every evil act into an opportunity to reveal His grace, mercy, and strength to those who call on Him. We must press our way towards the hope of Christ at every opportunity
Let the building process begin!!!“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing”
(1 Thessalonians 5:11).
People are struggling around us including ourselves... It is the grace of God that gives us what we need to overcome our own difficulty and become a source of encouragement to the hurting. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart” (Psalm 19:8).
Have an amazing, spirit filled day knowing the great love of the Lord and how He wants us to share His great love and encouragement with all we come in contact with to remind us and others who we are and whose we are in Him.
AMEN!!
