Dear Precious Friends,
On this beautiful new day I pray you are waking up knowing God has a purpose for your life and His mercies are new each day. Great is His faithfulness.
Oswald Chambers put it like this:
There may be times in your spiritual life when there is confusion, and the way out of it is not simply to say that you should not be confused. It is not a matter of right and wrong, but a matter of God taking you through a way that you temporarily do not understand. Hang on to the fact that He will ultimately give you clear understanding. Stand firm in faith, believing that what Jesus said is true. God has bigger issues at stake than the particular things you are asking of Him right now."
Standing firm in faith and victory happens when we choose to walk in the freedom we now have in Christ. We renew our minds to think differently, walk in the Spirit at all times, and live as a citizen of heaven rather than citizens of this world.
We stand firm every time we choose to live in the truth of who we are in Christ rather than limiting ourselves to what we see in this physical world. It’s choosing to see the world through our spiritual eyes in every circumstance and recognizing that Jesus truly is our King.
The enemy is a very sore loser. The presence of his former kingdom is still here, and he would love nothing more than to convince us that he still has power in this world. But Jesus very clearly stated that all authority had been given to Him. The enemy no longer has any rights. (Matthew 28:18)
Stand in the truth. Remind the enemy of his loss. And walk in the victory we have in Jesus.
Now this my friends is our truth. May we walk in this victory remembering no matter what is happening around us, the battle has been won and the reason we are still here is to share Jesus with all we come in contact with... May our lives reflect His love and our faith no matter what we are walking through.
Oh my friends, what hope we have in Him.
