Presence of God

Good Sunday Morning Precious Friends,
On this Fill our Soul Sunday I pray you are taking time to Fill your Soul with the Lord through prayer, time in His word, Fellowship with believers, great teaching from a Spirit Filled Pastor and time to rest in Him. I love this reminder that prayer reminds us we can bring our problems to God and that God is near. It is the simple truths of God that are the most powerful and prayer keeps our mind filled of the presence of God.
The God who speaks his promises to us is the same God who said, “Let there be light,” and the darkness fled (Genesis 1:3). When he speaks, stars burn and planets lock into orbit; rivers run and oceans fill earth’s floors; valleys sink and mountains race to the sky. The grass in all the world may wither, and the flower on every hillside fade, but the word of him who made them will stay and stand forever (Isaiah 40:8).
When our troubles are as untamed as the ocean? God holds them in the hollow of his hand (Isaiah 40:12). When our sorrows are as vast as the heavens, God measures them like a carpenter atHhis workbench (Isaiah 40:12). When your burdens are as heavy as the hills? God picks them up and puts them on his scale (Isaiah 40:12).
Our problems may be massive, but our God is mighty. The sun will fail to shine sooner than his word will fall to the ground — no matter how big our problems.
No trouble is too tangled for God to untie. No path is too twisted for him to straighten. No heart is too shattered for him to gather up and put back together.
Our problems may be big, perhaps even bigger than we know. But our God is bigger, and His promises to us are stronger and surer. So, I pray we may look up from our problems. Listen again to God’s powerful, wise, and tender voice. And then ask God to help us behold him.
God I know you are close (Phil. 4:5)
You will never leave me, nor forsake me (Deut. 31:6 & Heb. 13:5)
Nothing can separate me from your love (Rom. 8:39)
You are my refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1)
You sustain and renew my strength (Isa. 40:31)
You watch over me and guide me (Psalm121:8 & Psalm 23:2)
I can give you my problems because I know you care and you provide (1 Peter 5:7 & Phil.4:19)
You are good and you are faithful (Psalm 34:8 & Psalm 119:89-90)
AMEN!!!
May be an image of one or more people and text that says 'Prayer reminds ús that the size of our problems is nothin compared to the size of our God.'
