Dear Precious Friends,
In thinking and praying about the need in our lives for such a time as this... the Holy Spirit reminded me of this truth!
(Bear with me as our internet is down and I’m typing this out word by word on my iPhone.)
So what do we do about the toxic environment we are currently in?
Set our minds on things above!
We are not earthbound!
Our hope is in Jesus who came and gave us the gift of eternal life! Since we have been raised to a new life in Christ and by God’s grace we have been clothed in Christ’s righteousness; given the free gift of eternal life; been showered with every spiritual blessing; received a heavenly inheritance and been seated with Christ in heavenly places –
My friends...We are called to set our heart and mind on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honour at God's right hand. And the astonishing thing is that because we are in Christ – by virtue of our faith in Him, we too are seated in heavenly places - for we are in Christ.
It is for this reason that we are called to keep our minds on things that are above, and not to be influenced by the things of the earth.
If we focus on things of this earth we will go down a slippery slope of discouragement and hopelessness, HOWEVER...when we stay focused on Jesus and what he has for us and the hope we have in Him
We will be pulled right out of any pit we have spiraled down into.
We are not undercomers... we are overcomers!!! 
We are to live by trusting in Jesus and not by trusting in our circimstances. We are to find our sufficiency in Christ, knowing that in this world we will have tribulation – but Christ has overcome the world and we have a priceless inheritance—a beautiful inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade away - an inheritance that is kept in heaven , especially for us!!
In light of all that is happening in our world.., it is more urgent than ever to remember these truths and live today and every day mindful of our inheritance And purposeful of what we are here to do today.
Let’s all make the most of today for his purposes keeping our eyes on him knowing our Destination is heaven🙌 but we are here now for one purpose.. to share Our hope!!!
Loving Father, help us to keep the eyes of our heart on Jesus and the glorious eternal inheritance that You have reserved for us and all who have trusted You as Saviour, in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
