Dear Precious Friends,
As we embrace our Monday and new week, I love this reminder!!! Who is with me?????
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
As we walk forward today and into a new week we can be completely strengthened by our Lord no matter what we are walking through. We were never meant to go through life alone living in our own strength... He longs to strengthen us for whatever we are facing!!!
Ephesians 3:20-21 says, “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” God can do “far more abundantly” than you could ever dream in your life, “according to the power at work within you”.
We just have to let go and let God and stand firm against the schemes of the enemy! He is lurking and just waiting for His opportunity!!
The Holy Spirit, the power of God for all the earth, dwells within each of us!!! Just as he empowered the disciples for the advance of the gospel through trial and tribulation, he empowers each of us!
WE can do all that God has called us to. By seeking God with all our heart, the Holy Spirit strengthens us if we are willing to receive this gift!
To be strengthened by God begins by declaring our inability. God says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). When we try and live in our own strength, we become unable to receive the grace of God.
Our confidence comes from Christ. He’s alive within us! His power surges through our veins. His heart beats in our chest. His Word opens doors, parts the waters, and heals the broken. He already won the victory. May we refuse thoughts that weaken us and stop living in our own strength and instead wholly rely on his. God longs to “do far more abundantly than all we think or imagine” . When we lean into him for His love, power, and guidance, He has plans far above anything we can ever dream of, and the path to those plans begins with following him moment by moment today.
Let's all walk in His overcoming, victory filled, determined power as we walk into a new day and a new week!!
Let's do this!!
Amen!
