Good Morning Precious Friends,
As we welcome this new day this gift from God I wanted to share how important it is that we aren’t wrapped up in our identity in anything other than who we are in Christ.
It’s so hard to get in the world but not if the world, yet Satan sure like to distract us to believe those lies. It is amazing that the God of the universe knit us together in our Mothers wombs and brought us here for such a time as this.
If all starts with Jesus and our relationship with Him. Bring in His word is being with Him.
He speaks to us through His word. It’s amazing to know that our perfect peace comes from knowing Him and fixing our eyes on Him.
In the beginning was the word, the word became flesh and dwelt among us!
I came across this beautiful
Writing this morning from Hope and Healing in Jesus Christ. Beauty from Ashes. I had to share:
We are ALL welcome at the foot of the cross.
If you are searching for your identity in anything other than Jesus, you won’t ever find peace and wholeness apart from Him.
We were all born with eternity in our hearts, so that the very deep in us cries out to the deep of God. It’s like having a cross shaped hole in our heart, that can only be filled by Jesus. When that part of us is not filled with Jesus, it keeps us searching and trying to fill this void with idols, only to come up empty.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Psalm 42:7
Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.
Come to the cross and be met with unconditional love, healing, deliverance, mercy, and grace. Surrender it all to Jesus and allow Him to show you who you are in Him.
Will He leave you the way He found you? No. He loves us too much for that. As we allow the Lord to strip away the layers, by surrendering to Him, He molds us and makes us into all that He created us to be, image bearers of Jesus.
Reduce us God, until we know: We are not our feelings. We are not our jobs. We are not our cars or house. We are not our accomplishments. We are not what other people say or think. We are not our mistakes. We are not an addiction. We are not our sin. Because of Your grace, mercy, and love that poured out on the cross, those that are born again are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We are no longer slaves, we are children of God. Reduce me Lord, til I know that the only thing that matters is that I am a child of God.
Galatians 4:7
7 So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.
My friends,
Our hope is in Him.
Thank you Lord Jesus that we are your children. Thank you Lord Jesus that you are all that matters.
Thank you Lord Jesus for your truth that sets us free.
Have a blessed day knowing His truth
And know who you are and whose you are!
Amen!
