Dear Precious Friends,
On this beautiful new day, I pray you are waking up to this new day filled with joy and expectation of all God is doing in our lives!!!
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” —Philippians 1:6
This has to be one of the most reassuring verses in the Bible. We can be confident that God is able to continue the work He has started in our life.
No matter how discouraged you feel about yourself or your circumstances, KNOW with confidence that God is working.
I know that we don’t always experience that confidence. I sometimes worry that I might get in God's way as I try to take over and have to move out of the way... anyone relate? i
It’s challenging being human! I always say the human condition is difficult!!! Even the apostle Paul cried out one day in sheer frustration and spiritual agony: “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?” (Romans 7:24).
Who? Hebrews 12:2 reminds us who: “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.” Paul knew who would never leave him nor forsake him, and who would continue to work in his life.
God, through Jesus Christ, will continue to work out the plan for our lives that He ordained from the foundations of the world. He knows who we are. He knows our weaknesses and vulnerabilities. He doesn’t want us to ignore those parts of our lives or fear them. He knows what it will take for us to stay close to Him. He will allow events and circumstances that will help us know without a doubt, that nothing will ever separate us from His love. We can always live in God's presence.
What a relief!
“We know that to those who love God, who are called according to His plan, everything that happens fits into a pattern for good.” —Romans 8:28
As we wait upon the Lord for action to take place, we need to know that waiting on the Lord is a powerful action in itself. It is showing our faith is active in remaining ready to see the Hand of the Lord move with the timing that is being perfected by the Lord's intent. When we are actively seeking Him for the wisdom needed during the course of time until we know without a doubt that we are on the threshold of the breakthrough. Stay on the path. Be confident of this very thing, that He Who has begun this good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
God is teaching some of us to be silent if you are in a season of frustration. The less we say, the more He will move. Stay quiet. (Be still and know that I Am God. Psalm 46:10)
AMEN!!!
