Dear Precious Friends,
I pray you are waking up today to a new day and a new week feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit knowing God has given us another day to be used by Him to bring hope to a world that needs Jesus.
So how do we do this when we are feeling overwhelmed, overcome and exhausted from all the trials in this world.
I love this reminder from Isaiah....
I love Isaiah 40:28-31...
We all need to hear this today...
Have you not seen or heard"? Don't you know that the Lord is the everlasting God the Creator of all the earth? He never grows fait or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to those who are tired and worn out: he offers strength to the weak. Even youths will become exhausted, and young men will give up..
BUT THOSE WHO WAIT ON THE LORD WILL FIND NEW STRENGTH. THEY WILL FLY HIGH ON WINGS LIKE EAGLES. THEY WILL RUN AND NOT GROW WEARY. THEY WILL WALK AND NOT FAINT."
How do we find the strength we so desperately need during such a time as this? Life can make us weary and cause us to not even want to get our of bed... yet the inner strength we need is from God... when we feel so depleted and exhausted and have a great weight upon us and don't seem to be able to face the challenges of this day... What do we do? SEEK HIM FIRST!
God knows every detail of everything we are going through... In the trials
God will give us the strength to endure all the situations we face... all the trials... God will give us the strength as we seek Him first... We will grow weary in our strength... Seek Him first for He wants to give us power for our weakened condition... Satan will try to take us down... we are in a great spiritual battle... God is on the throne, He wants to restore, refresh and renew our souls. He wants to lift us to His strength that is far above the storm so of this life so we can soar like an eagle.. He wants us to be refreshed...
The way we find our hope in the Lord is through spending time with Him, seeking Him first, being intentional about our lives, our first fruits, His kingdom and all the opportunities He gives us to share who He is.
May His strength give you you strength. When you feel all of life crushing you and you can't go another step, remember you can call upon the lord to renew your strength and have patient expectation that God will fulfill His promises in His word and strengthen us to rise above life's difficulties.. Let's trust in God completely.
