Dear Precious Friends...
WOW... What powerful words God has given us from His word. The word of God is the foundation that we build our day with and build our our life on!
Greater is HE... 3 words that come form God's word...
What power we have from this!!!
What does this mean to you?
It's taken from 1 John 4:4 " Greater is He who is in you, than He who is in the world".
It was Christ's triumph at the cross that enabled John to proclaim to all who believe, "You are from God, little children, and have overcome them". The strength of the enemy may be great, but greater is the power of God almighty. Greater in might, majesty, dominion, and power is the supremely, omnipotent God, Who has come to indwell His people. We have overcome the evil principalities and powers "because greater is HE Who is in you than he who is in the world".
Whatever it is we are facing today, Cancer, illness, uncertainty, grief, job loss, fear of the unknown, divorce... whatever it is...
When we are in Christ, Christ is in us!
We have so much power when we walk in the spirit!
He's given us His Holy Spirit that we might discern the things He's freely made available to us (1Cor.2.12). All we have to do is walk in, embrace, and participate in the divine nature imparted to us by God (2Peter 1:4). May we believe-with all our heart—that no matter what we are walking through and how difficult it may be, God Himself will restore, strengthen, and establish us because He will (1Pet.5:10). May we take our gaze off of our immediate problem, step back, and focus on our Lord. I can picture Jesus walking our way, arms outstretched, inviting us to walk on the water with Him.
Leave the wind and the waves to Him. WE can entrust our troubles to Him. Let's grab hold of His hand. His strength will become our strength. His insights, our insights.
Lets walk in His strength my friends!!!
Nothing can touch us when we do!!
Thank You, Father, that I am Your child and thank You for the wonderful gift of Your Holy Spirit, Who is living within my body to lead, guide and protect me. Thank You that no power in heaven or hell can match your greatness. Thank You that by faith in Christ I have overcome the enemies that seek my downfall and the downfall of those I love. Help me withstand all forms of evil and to submit to You in all things. Give me the wisdom to resist Satan's schemes and flood my heart with Your perfect peace that passes understanding. Help me, Father, to listen more earnestly to Your still small voice, and to remember that greater is HE that is living in me than the defeated enemy that is in the world - this I ask in Jesus' name,
AMEN.
