Grateful

Dear Precious Friends,
On this TGIFF (Thank God I'm Forgiven Friday) I'm thinking of all the blessings God has given and all there is to be grateful for. It's easy to focus on the difficulties & miss the gifts from our Father!
My favorite word is Grateful. When anyone asks me how I'm doing, I always say Grateful. It stops people in their tracks.
These past few years have been unbelievably difficult in my life with so much loss and heartache. I wouldn't know heartache if I didn't know great love. Those who love much, grieve much... GRATEFUL.

We are facing another mountain at this time and need the Lord more than ever. GRATEFUL.

A grateful heart sees each day as a gift. Thankful people focus less on what they lack and more on the privileges they have. GRATEFUL!

Jesus is building a house for us (John 14:2). Our deed of ownership is secure! WOW! GRATEFUL! What’s more, Jesus cured our leprosy. Sin covered our souls and numbed our senses. Yet Jesus paid the price and we are healed!

The grateful heart is like a magnet sweeping over the day, collecting reasons for gratitude. A zillion diamonds sparkle against the velvet of the sky every night. GRATEFUL! Thank you, God. A miracle of muscles enables our eyes to read these words and our brain to process them. GRATEFUL! Thank you, God. Our lungs inhale and exhale eleven thousand liters of air every day. GRATEFUL! Our hearts will beat about three billion times in our lifetime. GRATEFUL! Our brain is an amazing electric generator of power. GRATEFUL! Thank you, God.

The sun came up this morning,GRATEFUL! Thank you, Lord.

Gratitude gets us through the hard stuff. To reflect on our blessings is to rehearse God’s accomplishments. To rehearse God’s accomplishments is to discover his heart. To discover his heart is to discover not just good gifts but the Good Giver. Gratitude always leaves us looking at God and away from dread. It does to anxiety what the morning sun does to valley mist. It burns it up. ( Max Lucado)

Join the ranks of the 10 percent who give God a standing ovation. “Give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:20 NLT).

Please share what you are grateful for! Let's start an attitude of gratitude that sweeps the nation today!!!

Love you!  AMEN
