God First

Dear Precious Friends,
As we embrace the gift of a new day, a beautiful gift, knowing the Lord and His truth, spending time with Him is the top priority of our lives.
When we wake up, He is our first thought.
He who gave us life, breath and every gift
.... He deserves our time, our love and our life committed to walking in His truth.
Unwavering Faith is what happens when we live these simple acts of obedience.
Our faith must be THE most important thing in our life. Our faith in God must be at our center. God will fight our battles, God will provide for us, God will answer our prayers, but we must have unwavering faith in him and all His promises to us.
Hebrews 11:6
"And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him."
Romans 1:16-17
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
So what does weak faith get us? The Bible says that without solid faith, without faith as our solid base, we are like the waves of the ocean, being pulled from here to there, tossed from place to place, and if you honestly look at that analogy it is absolutely true. Without having solid and unshakable faith in God, we can and will be pulled from here to there by whatever the enemy wants to throw at us, we will be tossed about by any storm the enemy sends our way.
But when we hold tight onto God as our center, we are holding onto the most solid rock that ever was or ever will be. So how can we ensure that our faith is strong? It requires us letting go of the cares and worries this world says we must be worried about, it requires us to stop allowing fear and anxiety to rule our life, it requires us to completely lay our life, our hopes and dreams in the hands of Almighty God. It requires time with Him!!!
How many times do you set out to spend time with the Lord, only to end up scrolling on your computer or
through Facebook instead of spending time with Him?
The average person spends 8 hours a day on screen time,
We can certainly take time to spend with the Lord, taking in His word, His truth and igniting our faith!
Satan loves distracting us and we have to
Realize and be purposeful to spend that time with our Lord.
We stand firm in our faith when we spend time with Him!
Darkness will try to come for us, fear will try to come at us, worries of this life will try to consume us, but none of those things are from God and none of those will do anything for our life, other then remove faith from our life. God knows the things we face through our this life, God knows the evil we can and will encounter each and every day we walk this earth. But that is why one of the most used phrases in the Bible is, FEAR NOT. Fear and worry are the exact opposite of faith, in fact faith can and will defeat fear, but it must be faith in God.
Faith in anything of this world will leave us broken and surrounded by darkness, but when we place all our faith in God, anchor our life in the solid rock of God, knowing His truth found in His word, then we will find a strength we never knew. No matter what the world or the enemy throws at us, we can stand strong and firm with UNWAVERING FAITH, knowing God and His truth! He is at our side, God is holding onto us.
Faith is key, faith has to be at our center, for when we have our faith in God at our center, then we will know what it feels like to be held onto, and we won't have to hold onto anything when the storms come, because God has us and He will never let us go.
FAITH
Forsaking All I Trust Him
Opposite of FEAR
False Evidence Appearing Real
Have a FAITH Filled Day my precious friends and make time with Him our top priority!!!
May be an image of tree and text that says 'If God is not first in our thoughts and efforts in the morning, He will be in the last place the remainder of the day.'
