Dear Precious Friends,
On this TGIFF (Thank God I'm Forgiven Friday) I pray you are waking up to this new day filled with the joy of the Lord which means you are filled with His presence. I pray you are walking free of condemnation that only comes from darkness.
In case you forgot ....I am here to remind you that you are a Child of God.
As a Child of God, don’t you dare allow an accusing spirit to bully you. You cost Christ too much. You are covered under the mercy and grace of the cross. You are under the blood of Jesus.
We are all sinners, saved by grace, if you are in Christ. See Ephesians 2:8-9. There is no one righteous, no not one.
If you have reconciled yourself with God and are still feeling guilt and shame, you may be under the attack of an accusing spirit. The voice of an accusing spirit is condemnation. The Holy Spirit convicts us, but does not condemn us. See Romans 8:1. Revelation 12:10 tells us that the devil is the accuser of the brethren, day and night. Jesus came to give us freedom and healing!!! We are to walk in that freedom and healing!!!
“Anytime the enemy brings up your past failures, that is the work of the accusing spirit. This spirit feeds on past mistakes, in order to justify how that person is supposedly a failure, even though the Blood of Christ has washed away those failures and cast them into the depths of the sea! In this way, the accusing spirit is an anti-Christ spirit, because it deliberately writes off the work of Christ and the shed blood of Jesus.”
“The accusing spirit is an anti-Christ spirit, because it approaches people with no love, but a tone of condemnation. It works through a voice; the voice of condemnation. It constantly tells you how much of a failure you are. It tells you how your heart is not right with God. It tells you that if you don’t read your Bible every day, that you aren’t serious about your relationship with God.”
The accusing spirit tells you that you are not good enough. This is the exact opposite nature of God. It tears down rather than builds up. The accusing spirit seeks to steal, kill, and destroy by weakening its victim.
You have authority over the enemy, see Luke 10:19. Cast it out, in the name of Jesus! Accusing spirit, I command you out, in the name of Jesus. We take captive every thought, every vein imagination, that seeks to exalt itself against the knowledge of God. We take it captive and make it bow to Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Psalms 103:11-12 “For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.”
Revelation 12:10 “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.”
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,”
Romans 8:1“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”
Not today satan. Not tomorrow either.
You are under the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ. Walk in peace and joy, knowing that your sins are forgiven and have been removed, as far as the east is from the west. We accept this by faith.
