We are so excited for Walk on Water Chapter 2! Stay Tuned for Updates!

God-fident

Dear Precious Friends,
As we wake up to this new day, this last day of 2021, may we reflect and focus on the blessings God has given us and remember the ways God has been there for us. He truly has us here for such a time as this and He knew all that life would bring.
A really great thing to do for the New Year is focus on a word you really need to remember that you count on God for and give you focus and priority for the new year and a reminder of how you want to grow in your walk with the Lord. Your word can be as simple as Trust, Seek, Gratitude, Freedom, Grace, Listen, Fearless, Awaken, Believe, Abide, Be Still, But God.
I've posted some ideas below but this word is personal to you!
It’s between you can God and you don’t have to share it with anyone, however if you want to share it, please share it!!
I'd love to hear what your word for the year is.
Have fun and have faith. This idea of a word of the year is to motivate and encourage you to focus on what is important in this season of your life.
It truly is a great way to spend time with the Lord and hear a focus from Him. Once we pick our word we can find scriptures that remind us of what God's truth is about who He is and what He has done.
God's word is an imperishable seed that can renew every area of our lives. We can bring our brokenness, confusion and insecurities before Him and He makes us Godfident and secure as the seed of His word is planted in us and grows in us.
Choosing a word from the Lord helps us remember His faithfulness and stay focused.
My word for the year is Abide... Here is a great scripture reminder:
John 15:4-7 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me, he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”
As I close this post for 2021 I must share this reminder from Susie Larson:
May the reality of heaven mean more to you than your temporary circumstances on earth. May the promise of God's provision compel you to live generously and with expectancy. May you see the blessing in your battles, fierce as they are. Are you sturdier because of them? Do you have more compassion for those who suffer because of what you have experienced? Even in hardship, Jesus meets us, refines us, and empowers us to change the world. He loves to reward our faith! May you refuse to get tangled up in your regrets from yesterday, your frustrations today, and your fears about tomorrow. May you instead lift your eyes and look to Jesus. May you live with eternity in mind. Your faith today impacts your eternity tomorrow.
Have a blessed, magnificent, eternally-minded 2022.
Revelation 21:1-4 ~ Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
Amen and Amen my friends!
Please share your word if you want to!
God bless you!
