Dear Precious Friends,
On this TGIFF (Thank God I'm Forgiven Friday) I pray you are feeling encouraged by God's word, His truth and walking in His presence no matter what you are facing. The truth is, we all get weary. A pandemic was one of the worst things some of us have been through. It has been heart breaking to see the infection numbers and the rising count of those lost.
So many difficulties have caused us to become weary. SO....
What do we do when we get weary? When we think we can’t keep going? The answer is to go to the one who never tires or grows weary (Isaiah 40:28).
God tells us that he will strengthen us and help us (Isaiah 41:10).
He tells us when our strength starts waning, he will renew it and we will soar like eagles (Isaiah 40:31).
And when we think we can no longer do what is asked of us, like Paul we can recognize the source of our strength (Philippians 4:13).
We rise and go through the motions, often feeling helpless. But we must remember that God is sovereign. We are not in this alone. God has promised that he would never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5-6). And God is not a man that he should lie (Numbers 23:19).
We are not alone. We must not grow weary in doing good. If we're feeling weary today, or losing heart about something we are doing or you've started something which you feel sure God put on your heart, but it’s all taking longer, or proving much more difficult, than you first expected... these reminders are for you.
I think we can relate to this at some point in our walk with the Lord. If so, remember as followers of Christ we must live beyond our feelings and still need to do what’s right and stay fully committed to this journey that God has on. He has called each and everyone of us on this journey for a purpose, because He has a purpose. A purpose for our hurt, troubles, trials, failures, and everything else! My friends we can have encouragement today Whatever our problems are, what trials and tribulations we are experiencing in life right now. No matter what it is, remember God loves you. He knows what we are going through in our life today. He has not abandoned us, He has not forsaken us. In our darkest hour we can be assured that God is right there with us. When everyone else has turned their back, when everyone else has run away, when nobody is left to stand with you…GOD IS STILL THERE! So don’t grow weary in doing good. For at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." And remember that as a follower of Christ, the Greater One is in us -- and He is greater than any problem or difficulty. He will help you. God has the answer for your situation. Look to Him and you will not be disappointed. SAY THIS: I will not be discouraged. I will not quit. I will trust the Lord with all my heart knowing that ."God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."( Romans 8:28)
Amen!
