Dear Precious Friends...
I love this image and reminder on this Fill our Soul Sunday. In talking with many of you, our youth, our leaders, our Pastors, it is time we remember that even though this has been an incredibly tough time... beyond measure.. we look at what God's word reminds us of for such a time as this.

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37 (NIV)

WOW... we are more than conquerors through HIM who loves us... Not through own strength.
So how do we live this out... ??? We've been in a wilderness journey at this time. So many in need, so much hurt, suffering, conflict... so where does this leave us... you and me? Our hearts, our dedication to the Lord, our living out the truth of this is what changes our community and our world.

The Apostle Paul asks, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (Romans 8:35) We’re told we can be more than conquerors in the midst of these hardships and evils — right in the middle of a trial.

Being more than a conqueror means whatever the enemy intended to use to take us out — whatever was meant to destroy us— did not in fact destroy us, and it’s now being used for God’s glory.

Each of us has a story, perhaps a new story... and it's important to share
about what God has and is doing for us and through us during such a time as this!

Romans 8:37 declares that one of our new names is “more than a conqueror"... SO my friends, how have you become more than a conqueror through this wilderness journey we've been in? Please share....

Heavenly Father, thank You for being an overcoming God! I know I can take heart because You have overcome the world. Empower me to rise above my circumstances. Help me cast my anxiety on You because You care for me. Give me Your power to overcome. You've walked with me through the toughest of times... help me remember what I am walking to is far more significant than what I am leaving behind... Thank You for giving me the victory! I am more than an overcomer through you.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
