Beautiful Day - Cinco de mayo

Dear Precious Friends,
I'm praying you have a beautiful Day and remember tomorrow is National Day of Prayer!!!!
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND SOMETHING WE MUST TAKE SERIOUSLY!!!! WE STILL LIVE IN THE GREATEST NATION IN THE WORLD!!! Did you know many other countries are killing Christians for their faith, and we live in a country where we are free to chose our faith and we can share it with others???? THIS IS AMAZING AND WE CANNOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY MY FRIENDS!!!
Lake Mary is having a gathering at the Sports Complex at noon with several churches!!! Many of you live in other cities having prayer gatherings!!! Let's be a part of this National Day of prayer!! Please let me know if you want to join me tomorrow and we can meet and pray together!!!
Our country needs prayer now more than ever. This is an opportunity for us all to unite together no matter our religion, our beliefs, our color.... we all come together as children of God to pray for our country... Here are a few things to pray for and here is a link to help... You can gather at your work, your neighborhood, your walk, your workout...
Let's all commit to praying!!! Here's info on the day of prayer and a link to read about how to pray!! https://equippinggodlywomen.com/.../national-day-of.../
Here are a few things to know:
Our country (the US) will celebrate National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 6, 2021.
Originally signed into law in 1952, National Day of Prayer is a day when people of ALL FAITHS are asked to pray for our nation.
Title 36, Section 119 of US law states:
“The President shall issue each year a proclamation designating the first Thursday in May as a National Day of Prayer on which the people of the United States may turn to God in prayer and meditation at churches, in groups, and as individuals.”
The President is legally required to sign a proclamation encouraging Americans to pray!!! HERE ARE SUGGESTIONS:
The President , The Vice President , Future elections (that the right person will be elected), Our nation’s military, For our country’s leaders to have wisdom in decision making, For our country to submit to God and His authority, for our Governor and local leaders, teachers, etc.
National Day of Prayer 2021 theme is as follows:
Our nation to unite
Our nation’s leaders to focus on liberty
Our nation to be more compassionate and understanding with one another
Our nation to learn to respect life – ALL life!
LET'S ALL PRAY FOR OUR COUNTRY AND IT STARTS WITH US... WHAT A GREAT REMINDER OF HOW TO HAVE PEACE:
Be in His Presence. Faith in God is the way to peace. There is always hope for peace even amidst the most challenging of trials.
In fact, peace is listed among the “fruits of the Spirit”, Paul’s catalog of nine tangible attributes that characterize the Christian life (Galatians 5:22-23).
“We are not at peace with others because we are not at peace with ourselves, and we are not at peace with ourselves because we are not at peace with God.” - Thomas Merton (1915-1968)
"I will have perfect peace when I fix my eyes on you because I trust in you!".
Isaiah 26:3
Let's focus on who we place our trust in... and how we have peace. Please let me know if you can join me tomorrow at Lake Mary for the gathering at noon!!!
Praying the following for you:
AMEN!!!
May be an image of text that says 'Today, I pray that God covers you with His wings of love. That you are hedged in and secured knowing he is your rock and refuge. Run to Him for you He is waiting for you with arms open wide. Refresh yourself in the peace of His presence! Even when you feel yourself sinking under the waves of panic, don't focus on these feelings, but keep your eyes focused on the Lord! His rays of light will reach out to you even in the darkest night.'
