On this Thankful Thursday I pray you are feeling great blessing with the gift of a new day...
I love this reminder and this visual... this image is TRUTH! .. There is a big difference between concern and worry... Worry is concern on steroids... When this happens remember this image and look up!!! Look at Him! Go to our quiet place and remember no matter where we are, the Lord is with us. Even in the midst of our fears, while we are alone in our room, He is with us. The moment we begin to be aware of His presence and cultivate His presence, all our fears, anxieties and worries will melt like butter on a hot day, or as the psalmist David puts it, “The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord.”
WOW WOW WOW.... AWARENESS OF HIS PRESENCE= JOY... NO WORRY! It takes the presence of the Lord to keep us free from worry.
Jesus is saying to us, “In the midst of your affliction, I am your shield. I am your defender. I am your fortress. I am your refuge. I am your supply. I am your healing. I am your provider. I am your peace. I am your joy. I am your wisdom. I am your strength. I am the glory and the lifter of your head!” (Psalm 3:3). Amen! He is not asking us to pretend that the facts are not there. He wants us to realize that HE IS THERE WITH US!
When we know that He is with us and for us, and we put our problems in His mighty hands, we begin to get a more accurate evaluation of just how “big” our problems are. When they were in our hands, the weight and burden of our problems may have crushed us. But when we involve Jesus, the once-monumental problems become microscopic against the largeness of His love and goodness toward us! In His Presence is FULLNESS OF JOY!!!.
Today, as we consider all that we need to do and the expectations placed on us, see Jesus there with us. He is our supply, wisdom, peace and strength. HE IS OUR EVERYTHING.
May we walk by faith and not by sight and live by the promises of God and not by what our eyes see. May we see movement in our circumstances, glimpses of glory that remind us God is very much involved in your life. He's writing a story, arranging circumstances, moving in the hearts of people specifically for us. He loves us that much. Let our joyful heart testify to our abounding trust in Him. May we encourage others. He's profoundly good and He treasures us! Have a beautiful day today filled with His presence!!!
