It's where we go when we need grounding and truth. As a deer pants for water my soul thirsts for you my God!!! The word of God is not simply a collection of words from God... it is living, life changing, and dynamic as it works in each of us!!
God's word reveals who we are and who we are not. It penetrates the core of our moral and spiritual life... It discerns what is within us, both good and evil... The demands of God's word require decisions.. We must not only listen to His word we must also let is shape our life!!!
We know we are in a battle each and every day... there has never been a time more evident than this time right now... Let's all sharpen our swords the way a Dr. has his knife sharpened before going into surgery...
Nothing is hidden from God...He knows about everyone everywhere, and everything about us is wide open to his all-seeing eyes... He sees all we do and knows all we think.. even when we are unaware of His presence.. He is there.. We can't hide from Him... We have no secrets from Him... He loves us so much...
These truths inspire me to armor up for each day filling my soul with God's word and standing firm for the day knowing He has every detail of the day already taken care of and I have everything I need to stand firm for the battle that awaits.
