Reflecting

Dear Precious Friends,
On this Magnificent Monday I pray you are relishing the gift of a new day and the purpose God has called you here for "such a time as this". Today I was reflecting on Psalm 91 and praying this over my family, our loved ones and all who read this.
It's amazing before we start our time with the Lord, to listen to a worship song to prepare our hearts... I was overwhelmed with praise listening to Hillsong What a beautiful name it is... and singing the words. Here are some of the words:
You were the Word at the beginning
One With God the Lord Most High
Your hidden glory in creation
Now revealed in You our Christ
What a beautiful Name it is
Nothing compares to this
What a beautiful Name it is
The Name of Jesus
You didn't want heaven without us
So Jesus, You brought heaven down
My sin was great, Your love was greater
What could separate us now
How sweet is your name, Lord, how good You are
Love to sing in the name of the Lord, love to sing for you all?
Death could not hold You, the veil tore before You
You silenced the boast, of sin and grave
The heavens are roaring, the praise of Your glory
For You are raised to life again
You have no rival, You have no equal
Now and forever, Our God reigns
Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the glory
Yours is the Name, above all names
What a powerful Name it is
What a powerful Name it is
The Name of Jesus Christ my King...

What a great reminder for such a time as this... to claim these words over our life!!
God drew me to Psalm 91 which I have read so many times... yet each and every time I read Gods I hear something I did not see before.

This picture is such a great reflection of the first verse "Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty."
With all the fear that is presented to us each day, I pray you stand in faith as your remember He is our refuge, our place of safety: he is our God and we can trust in Him.
When you take each verse of Psalm 91 and claim it over your life and the lives of those you love it becomes the living word.. In verse 9: "If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the MOST HIGH your shelter, no evil will conquer you: no plague will come near your dwelling." and then the reminder that His angels protect us whereever we go!! They hold us with their hands!!!

The last Bersia of the Psalm remind us He rescues us, He protects us who trust in His name.. When we call on Him He answers, He is with us in trouble. He rescues us and honors us!! He satisfies us with a long life and gives us His salvation..

As you go out on this new day... remember these words.. remember the truth.. Spend time claiming Psalm 91 over your family and live in victory over fear! We walk by Faith...
Forsaking All I trust HIm..
Today is a good time to read Psalm 91. I’d encourage you to pause here and take a moment to read it. What jumps out at you?

The psalm is built upon the premise that the psalmist is living in the middle of a dangerous environment. Can you see any similarities between their situation and ours?

The Psalmist is enjoying security in the midst of trial, but the security does not come through their own control. The Psalmist is enjoying security because of the intimate and incredible protection of the Lord.
My friends, please share what speaks to you in this Psalm and know the refuge you receive from the Lord most high against all the evil we face and stand firm knowing these truths.
AMEN
