Dear Precious Friends,
As we walk into a new week and have been given the gift of a new day, we are reminded in God's word to stay focused on Him. Isaiah 26:3 says you will have perfect peace when you fix your eyes on me because you trust in me.
In Isaiah 26 we see the prophet rehearsing a song of trust in the provision of God – he sings of how God will restore Israel, who will once again walk in righteousness and peace. After the coming judgement for their sin, a day will dawn when Israel will be redeemed and restored, and they will walk in the paths of righteousness and be covered with God’s blanket of peace, for when the eyes of the hearts are focused on the Lord, His perfect peace stills the soul and floods the heart.
And this is equally true for us today, for when Christians set their thoughts of their hearts of Christ Jesus, they are flooded with an inner peace – an inexplicable peace… a perfect peace that only comes from above.
How can we have peace in this Pandemic, election and threat of uncertainty in our world? Fix our eyes on Him... He says Fear Not 365 times in the Bible. One for every day of the year.. why do you suppose there is 365 references to fearing not?
FEAR: False Evidence Appearing Real
FAITH: Forsaking All I Trust Him.
We walk by faith!! God knew the incredible trials we would have and He reminds us to have faith His word is true. Not one word of His promises will fail. We can rest and rely on them at all times and in all ways. He never fails us and His mercies are new each day. He has made promises that meet every condition and contingency in our lives.. we cling to His truth... When we trust in Him, His word, we have everything in endless supply.
