Good Morning Precious Friends,
On this beautiful new day, I pray you are waking up seeking and spending time with the Lord first. With all that is happening in our world, it is easy for us to feel uneasy, frightened, and for fear to creep it's ugly way into our lives... We continue to be reminded that there are over 366 scriptures that say Fear Not...
That is one for each day and one for leap year!
Simply put, fear is the opposite of faith. God wants us to walk by faith, and Satan wants us to walk by fear. When we learn to live by faith and not let fear rule our life, we can live a fulfilling, satisfying, peaceful and joyful life in Christ.
Fear begins with a thought. Proverbs 23:7 tells us that "as a man thinks in his heart, so is he" (NKJV). I like to say it like this: Where the mind goes, the man follows.
This is why the Bible talks about meditating on the Word of God and having our minds renewed (see Romans 12:2) so we can know what God's will is. Meditating means you roll the Scripture over and over in your mind until it becomes part of you. Meditation takes information and turns it into revelation.
When we are born again through a relationship with Jesus Christ, we actually become ...recreated in Christ Jesus, that we may do good works which God predestined…for us… (Ephesians 2:10 )
So whatever Jesus is, we are too. He is strong, and in Him, we are strong. He is courageous; in Him, we are courageous. He is a conqueror, so we can be too. He has peace and joy, so we have peace and joy. He's capable and bold. In Christ, we can do whatever we need to do with His boldness.
Over and over again we see example after example of spiritual giants who walked close with the Lord and had life altering problems. They moved their eyes off the problem onto the ultimate Problem-Solver. Although they didn’t know what to do, they were unshaken and filled with God’s inexplicable peace as they walked in faith.
When we are afraid we can remember God's word and begin our prayers with praise. When we have to make a decision, we ask for God’s guidance, and He leads us. We must allow God to fight our battles.
What are you facing today? That battle is not yours, it’s God’s. Start by praising God for who He is, then rest in the fact that the Creator of the Universe goes before you to help tackle whatever problem stands in front of you.

Lord, I praise You for Your power. I need only to look to You, because You will go before me and fight my battles. Please forgive me for the times I take my eyes off You and become shaken and fearful. Help me step out in faith, knowing You go before me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
