Dear Precious Friends,
On this Magnificent Monday we begin our week remembering all God's promises which are YES and AMEN.
The Scripture from Ephesians 3:20 is one we can claim and look at over and over and I am praying this over my friend Joseanne who is in ICU right now and I am asking you to join me in prayer that God will heal her body and do more than we think or imagine as our faith believes in the power of our Lord to heal her.
As we know, Life can be overwhelming at times. Given the perplexity of the times in which we now live, that statement is more relevant than ever before. Perhaps you have had, or you are currently facing a perplexing situation, where you don't know how your situation is going to be corrected or when it will end. Whenever life hands us a problem that seems to be out of our power or control, we can simply turn to the Lord. At first glance that statement might seem like a clique'. However, throughout the Word of God, we are instructed to turn to Him when we are faced with various trials and troubling problems. When we turn to the Lord in a trying season, it teaches us to rely on the strength of God, not ours. Why? Because Our Heavenly Father is truly able. He spoke and all things became. That’s pretty awe inspiring isn't it? Now suppose we truly understood this truth in the deepest areas of our hearts. Not just our mind, but in our heart. How much more would we believe for God to be able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, This means beyond our understanding of human capabilities to comprehend. How, as this passage states?
By the power that works in us, the Holy Spirit. Now let me ask you again. Suppose you understood the truth of this verse in the deepest areas of your heart. What would hold you back from praying to the God of the universe, Creator of all things? I mean really taking hold of the power of the Holy Spirit in your prayers and allowing Him to work for you. Then believing God hears you and will answer your prayers. How much more would you see and experience the magnitude, the glory, and the miracles of God.
My friends, you and I are only one defining decision away from a totally different life. One decision. Will you choose to believe in the power of God to answer your prayers and do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think? Our belief in this should be relative to the size of our God. And if God knows no limits, then neither should our prayers that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. God is able to do more, provide more, heal more, equip more, restore more, renew more, and to accomplish more than we might ask or think Let’s just have faith and believe that He will do what He is able to do.
Have a blessed and beautiful day knowing the God of the universe can do more than we think or imagine no matter what we face today. May we rise up in prayer and believe in this truth.
AMEN!
