Dearest Precious Friends,
Today is a very special day.... Mothers Day. It is a day we honor and pay tribute to our Mom's and the special women in our lives. Motherhood takes selfless love, sacrifice and dedication. I am inspired every day as you share your devotion to your family and the love you selflessly give. I especially want to thank my Mom (pictured) who went to heaven March 12th of 2018. Mom, you always stood by me, supported and loved me unconditionally. You've inspired me to live a life of purpose, treasuring and relishing the gift of each day.
Despite the many challenges my Mom had with her health... she was courageous and strong. I thank God for the gift of being her daughter and for being blessed with such a wonderful example of love. The saddest moment I've ever known is when the person who gave me life became a memory. I miss her so much... Not a day goes by when I don't think of my Mom and how I miss her, love her and thank God He picked me to be her daughter. She taught me everything but how to live without her. Those who love much grieve much... How blessed am I to love so much.
One of the greatest joys I have ever known is being a Mom to my 22 year old son Branson. I thank God for the honor, for the privilege of being his Mom and can truly say he is one of the greatest blessings I have ever known. Thank you for making me so proud.
Have a Happy and Blessed Mother's Day and may God continue to guide you each and every day. We've all been through alot with the COVID 19 Pandemic and we are so blessed to have a day to celebrate. Let's relish every moment! Let's reach out to those who have experienced loss or tough times. We all need each other so very much.
This has certainly been a trying time and Home School Mom has been another part of the job description... and the new normal. Once again you have risen up to the task.
To those of you who have no children, thank you for the impact you have in our children's lives. To those of you who are Grandmother's... I have heard it said there is no great influence on a child's life then that of a Grandmother. What a blessing and honor! To all who have an influence on a child as an Aunt, Step Mom, Nana, Granny, Grammy, Mimi, foster moms and spiritual moms... God bless you and keep you. We honor you today!
There is no higher calling...
To those who have lost your Mom; I now belong to that club... I never knew how difficult this is until now...my deepest love and prayers are with you as we carry on the legacy she gave us.
Have a blessed and beautiful day.
Song of reflection.
“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.’” – Proverbs 31:28-31
