Dear Precious Friends,
On this Magnificent Monday I pray you are praising and thanking God for a beautiful new day and as beautiful children of God you know you are here because God has a purpose for our life and He won’t take us home until our purpose is complete.
Mark Twain said the 2 most important days of our life is when we are born
And when we discover why!
Love is always a response to love. The Bible says, “We love because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19)
To understand our life’s purpose and calling, we have to begin with God’s nature. God is love. Love is the essence of His nature. The only reason there is love is because of God.
The reason we are alive is because God wants to love us. He created us! He knew we would be here for such a time as this!
The first purpose of our life is to be loved by God! Yes, it is important to serve, obey, and trust him, but our greatest purpose is to love him.
“Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure” (Ephesians 1:4-5 NLT)
We must purpose ourselves each day to know God a little bit more and to love him a little bit better. His summary of our purpose is to love him with all our hearts, soul, mind snd strength!! All!! And to love our neighbor as ourselves.
Let’s stand firm in why we are here and be Representatives of Gods love and of His purpose focused on matters of eternal significance. Only one life will soon be past ...only wants done for Christ will last.
We will be in heaven for eternity and on earth we are here for a drop in the bucket
We are but a vapor... a mist... as His word reminds us...Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus and fill our soul with His word, His truth,
Praying without ceasing and looking at each circumstance through the eyes of eternity.
