Dear Precious Friends,
We are certainly living in interesting times... What are we to do? Our response is opposite of fear.. it's Faith! It's serving each other... This is our chance to show our trust in the Lord. We have to personally be in His word in order to be girded up for such a time as this... There are others around us who need us... let's pay extra attention to the compromised and elderly.. to those who live paycheck to paycheck with no reserve, to those who are dealing with very difficult life circumstances... we need each other and as the body of Christ this is our time to RISE!!!!!
Ephesians reminds us to put on the armor of God! What a great read for us in Chapter 6 before we do anything!! ARMOR UP!!!
The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Fear. One of the enemy’s most popular weapons that he uses against us. Worry, anxiety, fear…can overwhelm us with a thick shadow of darkness, controlling our every move and decision.
So much crazy going on around us today - Corona Virus... stock market, shut downs of everything, our world security is being threatened...
So what are we to do???
First and foremost...
Read words - of life - of truth. Soaking them in, over and over, praying them out loud. Until they became so familiar, they replace the other things in our mind that we battle against. There is power through them because they’re God’s words.
Change happens. Anxious thoughts began to diminish. Worry lets go of its constant grip. And though fear sometimes shows it's face, it will no longer control, hold us back, or paralyze us in its grasp.
God's words are “life” words, soothing to our soul, calming to our spirits, giving power to our days.
It’s not always easy, and it often comes down to a choice:
We must Choose not to allow fear and anxiety to control our life.
Choose to guard your heart.
Choose to guard your mind at all times.
We might still feel afraid, but we can believe that God is with us. We may not be in control, but we can trust the One who is. We may not know the future, but we can know the God who does.
Now my friends, can I please have an amen!!
