Dear Precious Friends,
On this beautiful new day, this Magnificent Monday, this start to a new week, I pray we are embracing the gift of this day and all that God has for us. I love this image and reminder of what to do when we feel any of the following feelings:
To the weary one,
...the worn down one
...the discouraged one
…the fearful one
...the burned out one
...the frustrated one
...the struggling one
...the feel like giving up one
...the grief stricken one
The Lord says, come to Me. Beloved, come.
God is not a man that He would lie. His thoughts are not your thoughts, His ways are not your ways. His ways and thoughts are higher than ours. When it looks like all hope is lost, He’s the God that parts the Red Sea. Know this: He is for you. Never will He leave you or forsake you. You are loved beyond measure. Trust the Lord, trust His timing. Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Don’t you give up. God’s got you like He had you last time, and the time before that. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Stay focused on His promises. Be strong and do not fear. He will come and save you. He is always on time.
Here are some great reminders of truth:
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
“Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Lift up your head to the hills, your help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth! See Psalm 121:1-2
I pray we remember what to do when we are walking through the difficulties of life and where our hope comes from!! Let's keep our eyes on Him no matter what we are walking through!
