Dear Precious Friends,
It's day 16 in our read a chapter of Luke challenge!
[Jesus said,] "If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?"

"It's just a little thing. It doesn't hurt if I fudge a little, does it?" Jesus says, "Yes, it does matter." Why? Because integrity is about faithfulness to our values and to our Lord, regardless of the price. Faithfulness in small things, including matters involving money, is an essential part of what reveals the truth about our authenticity as disciples. What we do with a little reveals a great deal about what we will do with much.
Our use of money is a good test of the Lordship of Christ. Let us use our resources wisely because they belong to God and not to us. Money can be used for good or evil.. there are over 2,300 scriptures on money... why is that...????? all we have is GODS! We are only stewards of god's resources. 1 Chronicles 29:11-13
Money can be used for good or evil: let us use ours for good. Money has a lot of power, so we must use it carefully and thoughtfully. We must use our material goods in a way that will foster faith and obedience.
We are to make wise use of the financial opportunities we have, not to earn heaven but to hep people find Christ. If we use our money to help those in need or to help others find Christ, our earthly investment will bring eternal benefit . When we obey God's will, the unselfish use of possessions will follow.
Father, help us be a good steward with your blessings. Keep my heart pure in matters big and small. May my words, actions, and thoughts all reflect your holy character and your freely-given grace. In Jesus' name. Amen.
