Dear Precious Friends,
On this beautiful new day, I love this reminder of how to have a joyful heart. We have been given the gift of today... Just WOW... We have today to breathe, to smile, to love LARGE, even in the midst of difficulties... There is so much to be grateful for! Thinking of how God has allowed us to wake up and embrace this gift of a new day is an amazing gift to share with Him our gratitude!!!
I was blessed to be walked out last night by a sweet young lady who worked at Publix and asked me if I wanted help, I told her it was up to her... She said she would like to come outside and help me to my car... As we walked I got to know her a little and found out that she just lost her Mom a few months ago and she was really struggling....
What a special time God gave us together... I asked her if I could pray with her and she cried... It was so special... We just never know what others are going through....
LEt's be reminded that we have this gift ... this gift of today... we are blessed to breathe today, to smile today and to love others LARGE.... We don't know how many todays we will get but we certainly have today which is a great great gift.
Start the day with a grateful heart & you get a day with a joyful heart. WOW: GRATITUDE = JOY!!!
I love the message version of Psalm 100:2-5:
"... Bring a gift of laughter,
sing yourselves into His presence...
Enter with the password: “Thank you!”
Make yourselves at home, talking praise.
Thank Him. Worship Him.
For God is sheer beauty,
all-generous in love,
loyal always & ever."
As we walk into this day lets remember that :
No amount of regret changes the past,
No amount of anxiety changes the future,
Any amount of grateful joy changes the present.
May we never take these moments for granted when we can take them with GRATITUDE — which takes all our moments & makes them JOY!
