Dear Precious Friends,
On this beautiful new Tuesday Morning, a gift from God, we are reminded of the incredible love He has for us. He who gave us everything offers us the deepest friendship imaginable. He longs for us to walk in abundant life of restored relationship with Him.
THINK ABOUT THIS! HE CHOSE US!!
It is the best and most amazing use of our time when we spend our first moments with Him because He is the source of our joy, peace and life. The only way to know Him is to spend time with Him. It is the most life changing decision we can make. We all have a hole in our heart that only He can fill....
In His presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).... WOW!
He is our best friend and we only know Him through spending time with Him in His word, praying and letting the Holy Spirit fill us with truth. He is not distant. What was true for the psalmist in Psalm 73:23-26 is true for us, “I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
This is amazing truth!!! IT IS SO ENCOURAGING TO THINK THAT IT IS in God’s presence and word that we are molded, refined, and transformed. It’s only in spending time with him that we become nourished and ready to bear fruit. Just as a tree must be pruned in order to bear more fruit, we must allow God to tear away parts of our life that are keeping us from the good works he intends for us. We must spend time in God’s presence being healed, and transformed. (First 15 devo)
As our scripture reminds us today in order to bear fruit that lasts, we must allow the Holy Spirit to teach us how He desires to work in and through you. It is then that the amazing plans God and all He desires for us bring peace, purpose, and joy to our life today and every day.
In order to bear the fruit God intends, we must learn to allow the Spirit to work in and through us. I pray as we spend time in His presence today, we hear Him and know He heals all the broken places of our heart that need His love...
He's gone to unimaginable lengths to be able to simply spend time with us... Let's all lay our hearts bare before Him, and let Him restore us to the joy of our salvation. AMEN!
