We are so excited for Walk on Water Chapter 2! Stay Tuned for Updates!

His Garment Can Heal

Dear Precious Friends,
We are beginning a new week. I pray you had time to fill your soul yesterday through worship and time with the Lord and community whether online or wearing your mask in worship... and no matter what you are facing or walking through right now, you remember as long as you are holding onto our Lord... He has you.

Matthew 9:19-22 So Jesus and his disciples got up and went with him. Just then a woman who had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding came up behind him. She touched the fringe of his robe, for she thought, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said, “Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

Imagine that, just the touching of His garment can heal us…that is an incredible power that one must have and that my friends is available for all who believe and follow after Jesus.

Can you just imagine that just one touch, one touch of the hem of His garment can bring us healing? Just let me touch it, that’s the kind faith that Jesus is talking about, the kind of faith that moves mountains, we see in:

Matthew 17:20 “You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”

That’s the kind of awesome incredible power that comes when you have a relationship with Jesus Christ. “When you’re hanging on by a thread, make sure it’s the Hem of His Garment.” Do you know how powerful that statement is? Life can be cruel, life can be stressful, life throws us all sorts of curveballs, but if we just hang on to the hem of his garment, everything‘s gonna be okay. Because today we will cast all your fears and worries to the side and we are going to take hold of the Hem of His garment and believe in whatever it is we need to believe in and Jesus will fix, He will heal, He will bring comfort, He will bring peace, and bottom line is, He will when we can’t.

Life turns all of us upside down at one time or another. Our focus no matter what we are walking through has to be on Jesus... Joseph never gave up on God. He certainly could have turned away and walked away. I am so inspired. And Job... what didn't come at him.. he was tested beyond measure... evil came, Job chose God... Good resulted. Moses... same thing.... David... who fell.... we can go on and on but our ultimate example is our Lord and Savior..... what He went through we can't fathom... God used what satan intended as the ultimate evil, God used forthe ultimate good... God rolled the rock away. Jesus walked out on Sunday morning, a smile on his face and a bounce to his steps... Satan will never win... what he intends for evil God uses for good...

We have to remember in the depths of difficulty that God sees a Joseph in all of us... Yes you and I who may be in a dark time, the world now is in desperate despair... we are to harvest hope and share it with others. Our Lord is faithful every single time... we are victors not victims... We just have to walk through these storms remembering the truth of God's word and feel the Holy Spirit lead us.

Let's commit to not letting this crisis paralyze us, nor let The sadness overwhelm us, the fear intimidate us.. Let's pray, lets share truth and trust God to do what we can't... We can have a miracle in our crisis. He is always with us and will use this for good ... we may not see it now and we know God's ways are higher than ours... Surround yourself with others who believe this too...who will pray with you and for each other...

We are those people in this group. Let's rally together and pray for one another.

AMEN!
