He is Faithful

Dear Precious Friends,
On this TGIFF ( Thank God I'm Forgiven Friday) we wake up embracing the gift of a new day and the incredible gift we've been given through our Lord and Savior.
Yesterday a dear friend came to see us and asked for prayer for his precious wife Joseanne who is a dear friend of ours and in the hospital in ICU on a ventilator from Covid. I'm asking you to please include her in your prayers for miraculous and complete healing.
In our broken world , try as we might, we can’t escape the life difficulties that come at us in this fallen world. We may even feel trapped and held captive by these things we cannot change, and they weigh heavily on us.
In our verse for today the explanation in the bible for the word, “relief' means, “make room for Me in tight places.” Wow. Can we all totally identify with that idea!
But I love that this verse shows us someone who can come and offer relief. So many times, we try and handle things on our own and attempt to solve problems without ever calling on the One who best knows how to make room for us. He is faithful to give us emotional relief, easing our burdens and offering us His wisdom. He shows us mercy when we call on Him, hearing our prayers and rescuing us from tight places. The next time we feel stressed, anxious, worried or overwhelmed, call out to Jesus in prayer and let Him find you in your tight place, and make room where you thought there was none and allow the Lord to give us relief from our distress. We just call to Him and He answers us and hears our prayer.
Thank you Lord Jesus that you know every hair on our head and you collect every tear we cry. You know our coming and our going. We cry out to you and ask for your relief in all we are struggling with. We are especially crying out to you for Joseanne. Please Lord Jesus heal her the way we are asking if it is your will and be glorified. Bring perfect health back to her body and restore her. By your stripes she is healed. We love you and thank you that you hear our prayers and give us relief from our distress. In Jesus name we pray.
AMEN.

May be an image of 1 person, mountain, sky and text that says 'Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer. -Psalm 4:1-'
