Dear Precious Friends,
As we embrace the gift of a new day and think of the incredible blessings we have been given just to live in the USA...to be born here, to be among the 90% of the most wealthy in the world if we own a cell phone...we have this special weekend to thank those who helped keep our freedom and honor them!

The median annual household income worldwide is $9,733, and the median per-capita household income is $2,920, according to new Gallup metrics. Vast differences between more economically developed countries and those with developing or transitional economies illustrate how dramatically spending power varies worldwide. Median per-capita incomes in the top 10 wealthiest populations are more than 50 times those in the 10 poorest populations, all of which are in sub-Saharan Africa.
What is interesting is that while the income of the world is significantly less than ours in the U.S.A. we are among the most miserable in regards to depression, anxiety, suicide, and psychiatric struggles... HMMMMM... wonder why that is... Those who are the richest are those who need the least not those with the most.
My post today is focused on the reminder of who gave the most to us to give us the Freedom we have in knowing we have eternal life with Jesus... He gave everything... he came from heaven.. left His father, became man, laid his life down, showing us how to live, giving us the gift of truth, life and wisdom through the BIBLE... yet what has happened to us.. our great nation...
We honor our incredible veterans this weekend and remember those who laid down their lives for the freedoms we have today. We were chosen by God to be here for such a time as this. He determined we would be living during COVID and we are living in the greatest nation in the world with the greatest freedom ever given... What are we doing with this gift... Satan wants us to think its all about us and there is nothing that will make us more miserable than to live our lives this way thinking this is true... It is up to us to teach our next generations what incredible blessing and responsibility we have to be living in the greatest country with the greatest freedom in the world...
What are we doing with this incredible gift every single day...????
My friends, I pray you are taking this weekend to reflect, pray, thank God and make a difference through supporting our troops, our Veterans and praying for the families of those who lost a loved one because they gave their lives for the freedom we take for granted.
“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
Freedom is a gift, it’s a treasure. And though we all may agree on that truth, it’s often easy to take for granted the greatest gifts that God has given us in our lives.
But those most precious gifts are never free. They came with a price. With sacrifice. They were worth fighting for. And are still worth fighting for today. Many brave men and women were willing to face hard battles in order for us to enjoy that gift of freedom today.
For all those who have protected our nation, for the men and women in uniform, together, we say “Thank You.”
We take time to remember this weekend, and say a prayer of gratefulness for the many who have been willing to pay a great price for our freedom. May God help us to live so courageously, may we follow the brave examples of those who have gone before us…
Thank you for reminding us that there’s incredible love and sacrifice displayed when one is willing to stand strong and fight for freedom.
This service of love and sacrifice on behalf of all people, points us directly to the greatest love of all, the very gift and sacrifice of Christ.
Our Savior was willing to pay the ultimate price, so that we can live free. Forever.
Dear God,
We thank you for the freedom you have given to us, and for the price that was paid by Christ so that we could live free. We remember today. The cost of it all. The great sacrifice for freedom.
We thank you for the brave men and women who have fought, and continue to fight, so courageously for our nation. We ask for your covering and blessing over them and their families. We pray that you would be gracious and encircle them with your peace. We pray for your great favor and goodness to be evident in their lives.
Please be with all those who wear the uniform, who serve our communities and nation every single day. We ask that you provide your protection, that you would be their guiding force who leads the way, and their rear guard who keeps them safe from behind. We ask that you would draw them to yourself amidst the dangers they face in a dark world, for you are the Truth, you are the Way, you are the Light.
