As we go forward with hope, let's guard ourselves with God's word which reminds us that the Love of God dismisses fear!!!
Such love has no fear!!!
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18
God's love is contagious!!! While we are still here we have one job... share his love!!!
Our state is "re-opening"... We are "allowed" to get out of our houses....
The mental condition of many has been challenged so what are we to do?????
We are to live our life with joy and live it to the fullest!! As Christians this is our time to shine most! Fear robs us of joy. We are to be smart of course!! Wash our hands, sanitize, wear masks when appropriate, however if you have fear it is time to immerse yourself in God's word..
Time with the Lord EXPELS ALL FEAR!!! Every hair on our head is numbered by our Lord! He knows everything about us!!
Our scripture today in Verse 17 tells us how to have something everybody wants to have. And verse 18 tells us how to get rid of something everybody wants to get rid of.
Confidence Before God
In verse 17 John tells us how to have confidence or boldness on the day of judgment. And in verse 18 he tells us how to cast fear out of our lives. These are simply positive and negative ways of saying the same thing: getting rid of fear is the negative way of saying become confident.
So the main point of the text is clear: John wants to help us enjoy confidence before God. He does not want us to be paralyzed or depressed by fear of judgment. Nothing would make John happier (1 John 1:4) than to produce a generation of Christians who were utterly confident that God would accept them on the judgment day
When we enter into His presence His love increases and perfect love expels all fear!!! God loves us so very much...
The Bible tells us 365 times to FEAR NOT!!! WHY? because every single day we are to remember this! How do we rid ourselves of fear? Declare the love of the Heavenly Father... Get out... be the church.. Declare God's power! He demonstrated His love for us on the cross.. His love is perfect...
Please Lord invade every heart and help all overcome FEAR!!! False Evidence Appearing Real!!! We walk with Faith and your perfect love. Forsaking All I trust Him.
Today is a new beginning...Lets walk it out in faith and share God's love with all we come in contact with and be CONTAGIOUS with God's love!!!
