Give It To God

Good Monday Morning Precious Friends,
Each morning I pray the Holy Spirit shows me what to share with you and this morning I absolutely had to share this.
No matter what you are walking through, I pray you know whose hands are working on your heart and in your life — the Master Healer, Restorer, the One who knitted you together in your mother’s womb.
God knows exactly what you’re going through and what it’ll take to restore your heart to proper working order.
In Psalm 147:3, we’re reminded of this Truth: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
I have really been in awe of the truths of scripture that I have skimmed over all these years and now they seem magnified on the pages of my BIBLE.
Bind is one of those words... When we skim over Psalm 147:3 we see Heal, Brokenhearted, Bind up...
The words “bind up” in both verses come from the Hebrew word “chabash” which means “to tie, bind, to restrain, to bandage”. I believe God reached down into my innermost being and touched my wounds. It felt like He had bandaged them and had began to heal me from the inside out. To think of God bandaging up my wounds is a comforting thought. He can and will do the same for you, God loves you so much and He will take the time to personally reach down and bind up or bandage all your emotional wounds.
“Heal” in Psalms 147:3 is the Hebrew word “raphe” meaning, “to heal, to sew together or mend.” Have you ever had to have stitches? Why does the surgeon need to stitch our wounds? It is to hold them together so they have time to heal.
We can’t physically see the healing God does inside of our bodies, but He is at work and is sewing us together again “stitch by stitch” so that over time you receive complete healing.
“He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalm 147 3)
“He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted.” (Isaiah 61 1)
What Does it Mean to be Broken?
When I looked up the dictionary, the meaning I got for “broken” was this: reduced to fragments; fragmented; ruptured; torn; fractured; not functioning properly; out of working order. Is this how you feel? Do you feel like your heart has been reduced to fragments? Ruptured, torn, fractured? IT REALLY HURTS! It’s like your heart has been shattered into many pieces. You may feel crippled emotionally and exhausted physically. Ask God to help you, to strengthen you and to heal you. Hand it all over to Him, trust in Him and allow Him into those broken places.
Imagine Him putting back the pieces!
Allow the Great Physician to do Heart Surgery
God, who is the greatest Physician ever, will come in and perform heart surgery on you. Can you picture Him lovingly fitting all those little pieces back together again? God will mend your broken heart!
Healing is a process though, so try to be patient, it may take time, but God’s timing is always perfect. He will heal you and strengthen you and perfect you.
Just open up your heart to Him and allow Him to do surgery on you. You won’t regret it, I know because He fixed me!
Yes, the God of the universe cares about you. He sees the pain you’re experiencing, and He cares about the condition of your heart.
When you begin to surrender, resting in His ability to do whatever work is necessary in you, you allow Him to heal your heart and fully mend and bind your wounds, until whatever you’ve been through is no longer apparent on the outside. And all the work on the inside begins to reflect His love, care and tenderness toward you for the rest of the world to see.
Place your heart in God’s hands. Allow Him to reconstruct the brokenness and infuse joy into those damaged situations. God seeks to repair the injuries and fully restore function in every area of your life.
The greatest freedom you can receive is Jesus Christ, and through this gift, there is healing and FREEDOM!!!
You shall know the truth and the truth will set you FREE!!!
Heavenly Father, We surrender into Your hands all that is hurting in our lives. You alone can repair our brokenness, bind up our wounds and revive Your intended design for us. Thank You for being our Healer, our Jehovah Rapha and for showing us Your ever-present loving care. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Psalm 34:18, “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (NIV)
Psalm 139:13-16, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” (NIV)
AMEN!!!
