Dear Precious Friends,
On this beautiful new day, this gift from God, I pray that no matter what we are walking through we remember God's promises. There are so many examples in the Bible of Godly men and women who share how they stood firm in their faith despite their circumstances and how they committed our scripture for today ... THEY HELD UNSWERVINGLY to the hope we profess because our God is faithful!!! God's word, His absolute truth makes us more like Jesus through the struggles we encounter because we know through His word we will have trouble, but to take heart because He has overcome the world. (John 16:33) We also know that He promised to never leave us or forsake us.
At some point in life we will all face hardships and times of uncertainty or worry. Whatever our difficulty is, let's remember God's promises so we don't get discouraged or stop believing in God's best. The enemy wants to keep us focused on everything negative that's happened, and we must stand firm and strong IN THE LORD so Satan doesn't steal our hope. Remember satan's job is to rob, steal and destroy... he knows that if he can deceive us into thinking things won't get better, we may lose hope and give up.
There will always be obstacles trying to keep us from becoming all God's created us to be, but God has given us a promise for good and not harm. He has plans for better things ahead. We must keep an attitude of faith despite our circumstances.
We remember God's attributes in the midst of difficulties and keep our eyes on Him. The many incredible Spiritual Giants that God has put in my life remind me to have scripture I can pray over or songs of God's promises whenever I start to feel myself sliding to worry or fear. I love to sing those promises loud and clear every time I start to go down a slippery slope of discouragement!!
Remember, God is faithful; . The question is not whether God will be faithful, the question is whether you will hold fast and not waiver during the storms of life. When we live by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), we realize that God is working faithfully behind the scenes to ensure His plan is unfolding as it should.
God does not change; HE is the same yesterday, today and forever. It is because of God’s faithfulness that we have the strength to weather any storm. The next time a storm arises in your life, look to the Lord and remember HIS faithfulness. So my friends, choose today to hold on to God's promises no matter what your situation looks like. Refuse to give up on the plans He has made for your life. God knows what challenges you've faced, and He has a way to turn things around for your good. Start thanking and praising Him for what He's already done and what He will do.
