Dear Precious Friends,
It's Soul Fill Sunday! How are you filling your soul today? I love reading God's word and taking time with Him to hear what He has to share each day. I also can't wait to go to worship and hear an amazing message at church! In a time when we are bombarded with bad news.. may we never let anything take us away from the good news of Jesus Christ. We are called to set our minds on eternal things. That is why we need Jesus, His word and each other to be reminded when we fall off course! This life is a vapor... we are fleeting, however we have a God in heaven that overcame everything and gave us instructions for such a time as this. B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth). Yes, our days of ease and comfort have been gone and we are facing difficulties like we've never seen at this time, However, we can claim His power and do what He wants us to do through Him. We all have His power to touch lives... We can't impart what we don't possess. May the reality of heaven mean more to us than our temporary circumstances on earth. We are called to live generously and with expectancy because of Christ's victory on the cross. We have resurrection power in all of our circumstances yet it is so easy to let those circumstances take over when we forget the promises of God! May the promise of God's provision compel us to live differently than the world! We are Kings Kids... He has called us for such a time as this!!! It isn't by chance you are reading this... It isn't by chance we are here during a Pandemic to show the world how believers respond to life's difficulties and trouble! His word reminds us in John: 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” is ... He came to give us peace.. In this world we will have trouble but.. TAKE HEART.. I have overcome the world!!!! May we see the blessing in our battles, fierce as they are. Are we stronger because of them? Do we have more compassion for those who suffer because of what we have experienced? Even in hardship, Jesus meets us, prunes us, and empowers us to change the world. He loves to reward our faith! But... you may say your circumstance is too much... WELL of course it's too much for us... BUT GOD... Nothing is too much for Him... May we all, lift your eyes and look to Jesus. May we live with eternity in mind. Have a grateful, eternally-minded day filling your soul with the riches of God's word, His rest, His truth, His peace, His love!
AMEN!
