All Powerful

Dear Precious Friends,
It's TGIFF... Thank God I'm Forgiven Friday!

Psalm 139 is an amazing Psalm that reminds us God is all-seeing, all powerful and everywhere present. God knows us, God is with us, and his greatest gift is to allow us to know Him.
God's thoughts and understanding are far beyond human comprehension (Isaiah 55:8–9). David compares God's thoughts to grains of sand: numerous and beyond a person's ability to count.
David testifies that when he awakes, he is still with God. The meaning is he meditates on God's attributes during the night and during his waking hours. He responds to God's constant thoughts toward him by thinking deeply about God. He is aware that God is still with him in the morning, and this awareness prompts him to adore God.
God's presence in our lives is never interrupted. He is with us at all times, surrounding us with His love. The apostle Paul declared that nothing can separate from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. He wrote: "For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38–39).

As we continue to walk through these difficult times, it is so reassuring to know He is with us, He loves us, His thoughts are always with us... when we wake up He is with us...

God Is always with us, but never more so than during difficult times! And He Longs For us To allow Him to Help us!

If you've ever woken up in panic or been in a situation where you can hardly breathe because of life circumstances... stand up and say softly, “God, I know you are right here with me.” (When you pass through rough waters I am right here with you. Isaiah 43:2) Speaking this verse from memory INSTANTLY causes that “spirit of fear” to leave!
The Word of God is our ultimate weapon against the schemes of the Devil. Here is the entire passage:

But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; Isaiah 43:1-3

Isn’t it reassuring to know that God is always with us, even in difficult times?

Throughout the Bible, God promises He will never leave nor forsake us; that He will be with us always. Because we’re not in Heaven yet, our journey through life will be marked by a succession of problems and difficulties. That’s what those references to “passing through the waters” and “walking through fire”refer to.

And you’ll notice: it doesn’t say IF troubles will come. It says When you pass through the waters… When you walk through fire. It’ll be hard, but you’ll make it through. That’s a promise from God! That’s also the power of God.

Because we have a free will, God will not force His help upon us. Satan and his demons are not so polite. They work at jamming our minds with thoughts calculated to keep us distracted and keep our focus away from God. But knowledge is power. Because we know what Satan is doing, we also know to turn to God for help! Recognize what is happening and take that thought captive to Christ through His word!!

I pray as we embrace a new day and fill our minds, hearts and spirits with God's word, we can recognize and walk forward knowing how to face our fears, our attacks and the schemes of the Devil... trusting in the Lord and calling on Him to take down any weapon formed against us.

Have a blessed TGIFF!!!
